What is the material and structure of the diaper, do you know?

Although diapers are very simple in appearance, their materials and structures are much more complicated and delicate than you think. It is not entirely paper, it is composed of an inner layer, a conductive layer, an absorbing layer and an outer surface. 1. Inner layer: It is made of non-woven fabric, which is in direct contact with the baby's skin, accepts urine, and quickly transfers it to the next layer. It needs softness, dryness, skin affinity and high breathability. 2. Conductive layer: It is made of non-woven fabric, and the urine received from the surface layer is evenly transferred to the absorbent layer. 3. Absorbent layer: The absorbent core is made of super absorbent polymers (SAP) and wood pulp fibers for absorbing and storing urine. It should be noted that SAP is not a sponge. We all have experience in using dough and sponges to absorb water. When the sponges are full of water, they will twist vigorously and the water will flow out again. When mixing the dough, pour water into the flour, knead the dough behind the water, and knead the dough into a ball. Even if you press hard, the water will not seep out of the dough. After absorbing water, SAP will squeeze it, and the water will not run out again. This way it won't be soaked and out of breath. Fourth, the bottom layer: made of PE breathable bottom film + non-woven fabric, its main function is to prevent leakage. The above is a simple introduction of each layer of the diaper, in order to better enable the diaper to achieve the three-in-one effect of water absorption, breathability, and skin-friendly, so as to bring more comfortable feelings to the babies.
