Water Absorption Test of Baby Diapers
In this experiment, we will be testing the absorbency of adult diapers. To conduct this experiment, we will need a measuring cylinder, a graduated cylinder, and water.
First, we will measure out 500ml of water using the measuring cylinder. Then, we will pour the water onto the center of the adult diaper. We will allow the diaper to sit for 10 minutes to fully absorb the water.
After 10 minutes, we will weigh the diaper using a scale. We will subtract the weight of the original diaper from the weight of the soaked diaper to determine how much water the diaper absorbed.
To ensure accurate results, we will repeat the experiment with three different adult diaper brands. We will record the amount of water each diaper brand absorbs and compare the results.
